Basic Information
Aluminum profiles are classified by surface treatment
1. Anodizing, electrochemical oxidation of metal or alloy. The
process in which aluminum and its alloys form an oxide film on
aluminum products (anodes) under the corresponding electrolyte and
specific process conditions under the action of an applied current.
The main uses are:
(1) Improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and weather
corrosion resistance of parts.
(2) The transparent film produced by oxidation can be colored to
make various colored films.
(3) As a capacitor dielectric film.
(4) Improve the binding force with the organic coating, as the
bottom layer of the coating.
(5) As the bottom layer of electroplating and enamel.
(6) Other applications under development, such as solar absorbing
panels, ultra-high hard films, dry lubricating films, catalyst
films, nanowires, and deposition of magnetic alloys in porous films
as memory elements.
2. Electrophoresis, electrophoresis is the electrophoretic coating
on the cathode and anode, under the action of voltage, the charged
coating ions move to the cathode, and interact with the alkaline
substance produced on the cathode surface to form insoluble matter,
which is deposited on the working surface.
3. Powder spraying, powder spraying is to use powder spraying
equipment (electrostatic spraying machine) to spray powder coating
on the surface of the workpiece. Under the action of static
electricity, the powder will be evenly adsorbed on the surface of
the workpiece to form a powdery coating; powdery The coating is
leveled and cured by high temperature baking, and becomes the final
coating with different effects.
4. Wood grain transfer printing, the wood grain is transferred to
the surface of the workpiece by thermal transfer printing. It is
not easy to fade, and the wood grain is realistic, which improves
the quality of the product. Widely used in: aluminum alloy doors
and windows, anti-theft doors, fire doors, steel and wood
furniture, filing cabinets, computer casings, household appliances,
metal decorations, etc.
5. Fluorocarbon spraying, a kind of electrostatic spraying, is also
a liquid spraying method, called fluorocarbon spraying. It belongs
to high-grade spraying, which has a higher price and has long been
used abroad. Fluorocarbon spraying has excellent fading resistance,
frost resistance, corrosion resistance to air pollution (acid rain,
etc.), strong UV resistance, strong crack resistance and can
withstand harsh weather conditions. It is beyond the reach of
general coatings.
The process flow of fluorocarbon spraying is:
Pre-treatment process: degreasing and decontamination of aluminum →
water washing-alkali washing (degreasing) → water washing →
pickling → water washing → chromization → water washing → pure
water washing
Spraying process: Spray primer→topcoat→finish paint→baking (180- -
250°C)→quality inspection
The multi-layer spraying process consists of three sprays (referred
to as three sprays), spraying bottom paint, top coat and finish
paint, and secondary spraying (primer, top coat).

profiles and plates, the surface of the workpiece must be
degreased, decontaminated and chemically treated to produce a
chromium film, increase the bonding force and oxidation resistance

2. Primer coating: As a primer coating for sealing the substrate,
its function is to improve the coating's anti-penetration ability,
enhance the protection of the substrate, stabilize the metal
surface layer, and strengthen the adhesion between the topcoat and
the metal surface, which can To ensure the color uniformity of the
topcoat coating, the thickness of the paint layer is generally 5-10
microns.
3. Topcoat coating: The topcoat coating is a key layer of the spray
coating, which is to provide the decorative color required by the
aluminum, so that the appearance of the aluminum can meet the
design requirements, and protect the metal surface from the
external environment, acid rain, Erosion from pollution, prevents
UV penetration. The anti-aging ability is greatly enhanced. The top
coat is the thickest paint layer in spraying, and the thickness of
the paint layer is generally 23-30 microns.
4. Finish paint coating: Finish paint coating is also called
varnish coating, the main purpose is to more effectively enhance
the paint layer's ability to resist external erosion, protect the
finish paint coating, increase the metallic luster of the finish
paint color, and make the appearance more colorful Bright and
dazzling, the coating thickness is generally 5-10 microns. The
total thickness of the three-spray coating is generally 40-60
microns, which can be thickened for special needs.
5. Curing treatment: The three-spray coating generally needs
secondary curing, and the aluminum material enters the curing
furnace for treatment. The curing temperature is generally between
180'C-250C, and the curing time is 15-25 minutes. Different
fluorocarbon coating manufacturers, They will provide the best
temperature and time according to their own paint. Some
chlorocarbon spraying factories (curium oil factories) also changed
the two-time curing to one-time curing based on their own
experience.
