Installation points of slotted rotating glass stair handrail:
First of all, ensure that the dimensions of each part of the glass
stair handrail are accurate and can be installed correctly. The
preparations in the early stage of construction cannot be ignored.
Before installation, prepare relevant construction materials and
equipment, and accurately measure the size of the installation site
on site. Then design the installation drawings according to the
measurement results, and calculate the quantity of materials needed
in the whole installation process.
The first step in starting to install stair railings is to
accurately locate and mark the lines. According to the marking line
made after locating the position, first install the fixing parts of
the handrail, mainly the column of the handrail. Next, install the
glass fence according to the construction drawings and marking
lines. Remember to tighten each screw in this project to avoid
unnecessary safety hazards.
After the components of the glass stair handrail are installed, in
order to improve the connectivity between the components, glass
glue can be applied between the gaps of the components. In the
process of applying glass glue, it should be noted that it is
necessary to ensure that the glass glue has sufficient width and
saturation, and it must be checked after the glue is applied, so as
not to stick to the excess glue and affect the appearance. Glass
stair handrails must be tempered glass or laminated glass, the
thickness of tempered glass should not be less than 12 mm, the
glass should not be in direct contact with rigid nodes, and there
should be elastic material pads between the two. When the design
adopts embedded glass guardrails on both sides, there should be a
gap of more than 3 mm on both sides of the glass extending into the
column slot, the gap should be filled with glass sealant, and the
depth of the glass embedded slot should not be less than 12 mm.
In the installation of general glass stair handrails, the most
difficult step is to deal with its corners. Since the height of the
handrail at each corner is different, the installation at the
corner directly determines whether the handrail is installed or
not. If the difference between the corner railings is large, the
method of disconnecting and closing can be selected to achieve the
best installation effect.
